Tony M. Chang
Mr. Chang is a partner at Castellan Law Group, LLP. Mr. Chang has substantial experience in corporate and real estate transactions. Mr. Chang received his Juris Doctor degree from the Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley.
After obtaining his law degree, Mr. Chang went to work as an Associate with Cravath, Swaine & Moore, LLP, which has been ranked as the most prestigious law firm in the nation by numerous legal publications (American Law Journal, Vault Report, etc.). At Cravath, Swaine & Moore, LLP, Mr. Chang represented clients in numerous corporate transactions, including, among others: $1.75 billion private offering of 8% convertible preferred stock by Lucent Technologies, Inc.; $424 million secondary offering by KKR of the Willis Group Holdings Limited; and $84 million initial public offering by Stelmar Shipping Limited.
At Cravath, Swaine & Moore, LLP, Mr. Chang also had the opportunity to be part of a team of attorneys that defended the nation’s top investment banks in the infamous Enron litigation matter.
Mr. Chang left Cravath, Swaine & Moore, LLP to found his current firm. At Castellan Law Group, LLP, Mr. Chang heads the firm’s business transactions practice area. His work on behalf of many of the firm’s corporate client includes many types of business and real estate transactions. Mr. Chang is licensed in New York and California.
